Football is back and if you’re a culé, you probably feel happy about it. Last season left you no good memories and the best way to keep the blaugrana smile is to move on as fast as you can. Things have changed at Barcelona’s locker. Pep Guardiola has been the obvious first victim of last season’s poor achievements – it’s not enough to have won it all; you have to keep on winning and winning. And if you have the world’s best player of all the time, you have to win it all again. And if you have the best club team in history, you’re better win it once more. If you don’t, you’re out. So it happened: no Champions League, no Spanish League. Copa del Rey was the only trophy to add at the Barça museum in 2012. Let’s face it: it’s a little too short when compared to the six trophies of the previous year, which included World and European Champions. And it didn’t go further only because interplanetary cups are not in dispute – not yet. Guardiola decided to leave the team and go in search of another challenge, leaving the club to a fresh start with a new manager. So, let the games begin. Good luck.
